About the Job

With us, you will meet patients with various care needs and of all ages. Therefore, you will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

You will have your own patients and help care for the clinic's emergency patients, including children and adults of all ages.

Folktandvården Angered has 14 treatment rooms and we are a total of 44 employees. Folktandvården Angered is one of Folktandvården's clinical training clinics and receives students in their final term of dental and dental hygienist programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervision/assistance from clinical training dentists can partially spice up your position.

About You

You are a licensed dentist, have good dental competence, and an interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry. You are particularly experienced in surgery and can and want to mentor less experienced colleagues during operations. You have good experience working in the Northeast or a comparable area. You possess Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.

If stressful situations arise, it is essential to provide a stable impression and also to be able to organize and prioritize work wisely and effectively. In your daily work, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks so that we can together solve challenges and feel secure for those we serve. Experience working in vulnerable areas is an advantage.

About the Recruitment Process

When your application is received, you will primarily be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview, not applicable for internal applicants. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

If you have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to complete supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.

Folktandvården Västra Götaland conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before hiring.
